When purchasing your Panama hat you have the option to select a hat box for safekeeping. We offer three options:

1. Standard Hat Box (free with any Panama Hat purchase)

2. Black Hat Box with White Logo (additional $10)

3. Black Box with Gold Foil Logo for an elegant touch (additional $20)

Any classic Panama Hat (also known as toquilla hats) purchase will automatically ship in a standard “Panama Hat” Box with inserts (see below). These hats cannot be shipped in just any box. Only true Panama hat experts will know the hats must be shipped in special boxes with the hat placed upside down as pictured below.

Why?

Because you have purchased an artisanal piece of work, a mini masterpiece, a collector’s item; and mostly the handmade nature means it is more delicate compared to hats made of polyester or felt, and both the crown and the brim must be protected.

As cultural heritage and hat experts, Little Havana Shop has taken the necessary steps to custom make hat boxes to protect your wearable collector’s item.

If you would like to upgrade your classic Panama Hat to arrive in the slightly larger and lovely white logo black boxes, the charge is an additional $10.

Note: The wide brim (A la Ancha) hats will automatically be shipped in our larger hat boxes as shown below at no additional cost.
